Mannington has been my home town for quite some time, and it never gets old. Of course it is a very small town, but it's probably one of the most prettiest towns around! The community members are so friendly, and they welcome all the people passing by. Not to mention all the fun activities that are offered! One that really strikes my attention is the Halloween "Scare Walk" that they offer every October. I would defiantly recommend stopping by Mannington, West Virginia!

I have lived here all my life...Small town feel, everyone close and knows everyone...A lot of community involvement and activities...I feel I have been fortunate to be able to stay in the area for so long...
It's a very drab, dull town. The people are not friendly to outsiders, and there is really nothing to do to for employment, shopping, dining, enjoyment, or all around living. The only advantage that I could see is there's a low crime rate, which could be due to the low population, many Senior Citizens live there and have all of their lives. Basically, it's a "White" town, with no blacks, foreigners, and people from out of state never move there. In fact most people only want to get out the town and never return, simply because you cannot survive there, especially if you are of a younger age, married, and supporting a family.
