I absolutely love Mankato! It’s the perfect size town, not too big and not too small. There are many restaurants, gyms, and other places of business that are great. The town is very clean and well kept almost all the time. People really take pride in their community here and you can tell by their lawns, homes, and places of business are very pristine. The only thing I would change are the drivers. I know we don’t live in a world where that can happen, but almost every day I get super close to getting hit or I have to do some very defensive driving. It’s not just because of the college kids either, it’s people of all ages.

I have lived in Mankato since day 1. This town is where I spent the last 17 years of my life growing up and I couldn't be more proud to say that. Mankato is a very fast growing and improving city. I believe that this city isn't too big or too small. The public schools are great, maybe will need to build more schools in future because of towns growth! It's not hard to meet a friendly person in this town, because everyone is very kind and friendly. The businesses in this city are continuing to grow and thrive, I believe job opportunities are pretty good. Commute time is very good with the town not being too terribly big. I could say much more but I think you get my point :)
Mankato is a very active community with many things to do for families, such as the ymca, parks, and trails. There are also several colleges here including MSU which has the vikings training camps in the summer. Also there is tons of programs here to help you jumpstart your life and get things rolling!
