Manhattan, KS is my hometown. I am 27 and have spent 23 years of my life here. I attended Manhattan High School and had a great, enriching experience! I also went on to attend Kansas State University. I have been involved in music here my whole life, and can speak to the richness of the art culture here. Manhattan strives to be a unique, innovative and friendly place for those coming to this transitional town. I call it transitional because the KSU students, soldiers from the nearby military base (Fort Riley), and graduates create as much if not more of our population than families that are actually from the area.
Review Manhattan
A cute University town! Manhattan is such a beautiful little town, there aren't many crazy activities to do but Manhattan is a safe, friendly environment to raise a family in. Schools are excellent and has lots of college level entertainment, including, sports games, tuttle creek lake, and bars.
Manhattan is a great city! Because it is a college town, it is always brimming with life and young people. The city is overall very clean and well-kept, and you feel safe walking through its streets. There are endless amounts of shopping and eating options, as well as other entertainment. There is never a dull moment in Manhattan!
