Little apple! I love it. It has very friendly people who help foreigners!
Manhattan is a city in Kansas, on the Kansas and Big Blue rivers. The Flint Hills Discovery Center offers multimedia exhibits on the region’s prairie ecosystem. Sunset Zoo has cheetahs, leopards and anteaters, plus a butterfly garden. Just north of the city, Tuttle Creek State Park encompasses Tuttle Creek Reservoir, horse trails and a shooting range. South, trails run through Konza Prairie, home to bison.

Manhattan is an amazing town! I have lived here all my life. The people are friendly and always welcoming. The town has grown, adding in new restaurants and stores, in the last 15 years. The city has made efforts to give the area a more eclectic charm. I would reccomend living in Manhattan to anyone who asked.
Manhattan, KS is my hometown. I am 27 and have spent 23 years of my life here. I attended Manhattan High School and had a great, enriching experience! I also went on to attend Kansas State University. I have been involved in music here my whole life, and can speak to the richness of the art culture here. Manhattan strives to be a unique, innovative and friendly place for those coming to this transitional town. I call it transitional because the KSU students, soldiers from the nearby military base (Fort Riley), and graduates create as much if not more of our population than families that are actually from the area.
