Little apple! I love it. It has very friendly people who help foreigners!
Manhattan is a city in Kansas, on the Kansas and Big Blue rivers. The Flint Hills Discovery Center offers multimedia exhibits on the region’s prairie ecosystem. Sunset Zoo has cheetahs, leopards and anteaters, plus a butterfly garden. Just north of the city, Tuttle Creek State Park encompasses Tuttle Creek Reservoir, horse trails and a shooting range. South, trails run through Konza Prairie, home to bison.

Manhattan is a great area to live in because of the college atmosphere it provides. This also comes at a loss because since Kansas State University is within this city, housing is very expensive. As housing rates go up, poverty rates increase. Manhattan is a town filled with amazing people while also filled with people who struggle financially. Struggling with finances causes food insecurity among many. Although this city has citizens who struggle with food, there are a number of resources for those needing assistance.
Manhattan is an amazing town! I have lived here all my life. The people are friendly and always welcoming. The town has grown, adding in new restaurants and stores, in the last 15 years. The city has made efforts to give the area a more eclectic charm. I would reccomend living in Manhattan to anyone who asked.
