Mandan, ND is a small town that sits across the Missouri River from Bismarck, ND which is the state capital. Mandan has a small town feel that makes you feel as though you are part of a community. The schools are very nice. Having the Missouri River close is great for fishing, boating, kayaking, and sight seeing. I do wish Mandan had more stores. Bismarck, ND has many stores, malls, restaurants, and activities. This is nice for a Mandan resident as Bismarck is less than one mile away. I would like to see in the future businesses deciding to establish themselves in the town of Mandan, ND.

If I could do it all over again, I would choose Mandan in a heartbeat. The city is large enough to not know everyone but small enough to not be overpopulated or too congested. We are expanding in size and, to me, that is a very good thing for the city! We have been headed in the right direction for quite some time since the crime rate has been next to zero!
I have lived in Mandan all my life. It is a small, but friendly town. Mandan has grown so much since ive been young. I hope to see Mandan grow even more, and to bring in new and fun things to do and places to see.
