Manchester is a small town not too far from the state's capital Nashville. Manchester is a good town to live in, there is not too much crime. Every year Manchester holds the music festival that is well known as "Bonnaroo", which brings thousands of people. There is some farm land in Manchester and very nice people. I enjoy this small town!

Manchester is a great small american town. I found it easier then most places I have lived to connect to the local community and become involved. The one thing I would like to see change in Manchester however is our city and county tax budget. Currently Manchester has one of the highest city taxes in all of Tennessee, even surpassing the capital city of Nashville and very little is budgeted to improving our roads and recreation areas. Local children walk home on roads without sidewalks and the local parks are poorly maintained except for what is raised and given from the private sector. I believe if Manchester city was to reallocate funds into improving these and other areas of our community we would see great growth in the future.
I love living in Manchester, and I'm glad to call this town my home! There may not be a lot to do here, but that's okay sometimes. I live on the outskirts of town, so I truly enjoy being away from the city limits. I love being able to drive to Walmart in about fifteen minutes, instead of thirty or more! Everyone is so nice and are always willing to help each other. Recently, the town square has become more popular, with restaurants, shopping, and much more!
