My experience living in Mammoth Lakes has been amazing. I have lived here my whole life and it is a place I call home. Things I like about Mammoth Lakes is how it is a small town where everyone knows each other. In the summer there are many amazing places to go for hikes or just to enjoy the outdoors. In the winter they open the mountain where you can ski, snowboard, and sled the whole season. What I would like to see change would be bringing in more big name stores such as Walmart, Target, and so forth.

Mammoth is an amazing place. It's scenery is beautiful and the people are friendly. During the winter you can ski/snowboard on the mountain or in the backcountry, snowmobile, x-country ski, etc. The summer is even better as the mountain turns into a mountain bike park, there's hundreds of miles of hiking and backpacking, fishing and lakes to take advantage of. Mammoth Lakes is probably one of California's best kept secrets.
Small, but very energetic town. We are surrounded by the beautiful Eastern Sierras and have one of the best ski resort in the country.
