We are in the Malvern Borough. We love to walk to local shops, restaurants and bars. Our Great Valley School District is fantastic and we love that we can walk to our train station. The close commute to KOP, Philly and the fact we can catch a train in Paoli to NYC makes us love this place.
I like Malvern as a place to live. It is a little expensive though if you compare it to the surrounding areas and what they have to offer.
Malvern is a very interesting place to live in. It is the epitome of suburbs. It is a pretty liberal area, but if you drive 45 minutes west you are officially in a different area completely, known as "Pennsltucky", coined for the political beliefs of nearby residents. Malvern is an extremely safe area to live in, and there are no hard instances of serious crime. The town is rapidly expanding and developing, become more and more urban by the minute. The real estate market is also booming, as there are numerous construction sites and housing developments in the progress of being built. There is not much to do in Malvern, but Philly is only a 25-30 minute train ride, so nightlife is not completely hopeless. All in all it is a safe and normal place to raise a family.
Compared to Philly, Malvern is so quiet. Any store you would need is somewhere on Lancaster Ave, and never more than a 20 minute drive. I haven't met most people in my neighborhood, but the people I have met around here have been nothing but kind and helpful. A great place to live!
I think it is a great town with a great education system. I grew up in public school and think I gained a lot from my education. I think everyone is friendly and the community is great.
Malvern is a very safe area with a lot of transportation opportunities to big cities like Washington D.C, New York City, and Philadelphia. With easy access to King of Prussia and many major shopping areas, there is not much to do in Malvern itself.
Malvern has a safe feeling and a friendly community. It is in the middle of a lot of things to do like the King of Prussia Mall and right outside the city of Philadelphia.
Cute town. Wish there was more in it but still close to top and Exton mall. Also very close to philly- the train station is always clean and easy to use. Very nice people working around the town and police are always visible and ensuring safety.
Family-friendly area that has recently developed upscale dining/shopping options. Holds small-town charm as well as modern conveniences. Easy access to Philadelphia/New York by train.
Malvern is a small friendly town located in a very good area where almost everything is accessible. In Malvern you could say almost everyone knows each other and it has that sense of community with it.
it’s nice and quiet but boring and suburban, so depends on what you’re looking for. an overall pleasant place to live, not too far away from philly
Great town, on the up and coming and will soon be very crowded. I loved spending my adolescent years living their
Malvern is a safe, quiet suburb with great schools and many activities for children. Several major companies have offices here, including Microsoft and Vanguard.
My experience with Malvern has been full of different feelings. Overall, Malvern is an amazing town full of beautiful nature aspects to the immense amount of restaurants. But, I believe the area must be more diverse. There are many differences between the residents of Malvern that must be sorted out, for they are unnecessary. But, overall, it is a beautiful area to live in.
Malvern is the perfect intersection of class and humbleness. The people are warm, the restaurants are plentiful, good music, great entertainment for sports lovers and foodies, and safety is not an issue. What more could one ask for?
Its very diverse and gives a homey feel to it. There is a lot to do around there and is in the middle of a lot of great places to do activities but also eat. It is kind of pricey but at the same time its a great place to live and so many other things to do.
Malvern is an amazing town. With its up-and-coming downtown area, the town is sure to become even greater in the coming years!
