One thing I do like about Malone is that we are considered mountainous, however it feels like the plains all around the outside of Malone for a few miles, but there is so much nature once you go a little bit outside of town. There’s a lot of problems here though. Most of the population is on welfare and they all have many kids, encouraging their young kids to have kids. There’s a lot of stds going around because of so much sex, substance and drug abuse as well. Also, you’ll need a really reliable car because there are so many potholes. Winter lasts about 9 months so make sure you have more warm clothes than anything. Jobs are hard to find here as well, and college bound intellectuals even more so because the schools aren’t decent quality(lots of drugs and sex going through). There’s also a lot of cows up here! I hope to see less drugs and young teen pregnancies in this town someday.
Malone is a small town it's quite and has the necessities.. would like to see more small business. It includes a Walmart, Aldi, dollar general, McDonald's burger king dairy Queen and a few small business
Malone is a quaint town in the heart of Upstate New York. Located in the Adirondacks there is much fun to be had in the beautiful outdoors. From skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer, if you like to lead an active life then Malone is for you. The small-town environment only adds to the magic of Malone, a place where everyone knows everyone else and you feel welcome even walking through the grocery store.
