Malibu Reviews
Rating 4.02 out of 5 46 reviews
Small town with great restaurants and beaches. Locals are friendly and helpful. Great public schools and many vegetarian options in the stores.
The weather is amazing, the ocean is beautiful. The politics are horrible. Practically impossible to get a building permit to rebuild after the fire burned 488 houses to the ground. No fire protection, with high risk fire area. Homeless problem, resulting in polluted ocean. Crime increasing because of homeless and not enough police protection. Quality of life once was the best, and has fallen dramatically since the Woolsey fire
Malibu is a beautiful town with kind hearted locals, a tight knit community, and plenty of opportunities to be submerged in nature. Tourists see it as a "rich" town, but growing up in Malibu, I have known families from all different socioeconomic backgrounds. It is truly a magical place and a wonderful community to be a part of.
