Maize is a very safe, family friendly neighborhood. You can go outside and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. Although it is a more calmed down city does not mean it is boring. There are lots of little events to attend and places to go. Just on the outskirts of the city border are plenty of shops. You can go a cheap food joint or hit New Market Square for some shopping.
Maize is a great small town conveniently located steps from Wichita's premier West side neighborhoods with shopping and restaurants!
