Magna is an old township that had its golden days back in the 50s and 60s. Magna has gotten a bad reputation because of gang activity, burglary, shoot-outs, violence-- all kinds of crime-- but many residents are diligent about trying to fight crime and fight make the township a better place to live. Magna Main Street used to be a ghost-town, but a new library, post office, and retirement home were built, followed by a tattoo shop that holds a large annual street fair, and little-by-little businesses have been returning to the shops.

I love Magna because it has such a small-town feel, but still has everything you need in this town. I love that we have a much smaller scale downtown area. The people are very friendly. There is no traffic. On this part of town, you get more of a glimpse of the country side of Utah. We are in the other part of the valley that is close to the mountains. It is just small drive away to a canyon or The Great Salt Lake to watch the sunset. It has just enough stores to be diverse, from the coffee shop around the corner, to the GNC and Spanish market.
It's a small town where everyone knows everyone. There's almost everything you need. Theres a park, stores, schools, gas stations, and etc. But there are some things I wish would change. The roads are at the top of my list. They're there but you can barely drive on them. Theres potholes and bumps everywhere. Another thing would be sidewalks. All they have right now is dirt or concrete.
