I grew up here, so I'm attached to it in a lot of ways. I love living near the lake, and having access to a lot of parks. However, it is not very diverse, the schools could be better, and honestly, there's not a whole lot to do.

Since we are a small town, the liquor board only permits a liquor license every 1,000 people within the population. Two of these establishments are private clubs only offered to club members approved by their club committee.
Even though this is a country area, this neighborhood is great on crime watch. We all watch out for each other. The police may not be so reliable, but the neighbors are.
