Madison, MS is a great place to live! People here have immense pride in the city and do their part to keep everything clean and attractive. Building codes are stringent, schools are highly rated and safe. We are a diverse culture with many different faiths who live and work together in peace. We are a healthy community with good available food, exercise and recreational opportunities, good doctors and medical facilities. Our community is affordable with a growing real estate market and job opportunities.
We need a new post office in a more accessible location.

Overall I have had a good experience in Madison. The schools are great and the community as a whole is pretty good. We do have great local restaurants and places to shop too! Overall I think we do have some negatives, much like any other city, but we are a great and safe environment to raise a healthy family!
Madison is overall a great place to live. It is very expensive, but we are blessed to be able to live here. The crime rate low, and it is very family friendly. The public schools are some of the best in Mississippi. It is very close to Jackson, so you have plenty of opportunities to work in the city if you want!
