Madison is very community centered and is a beautiful river town. Madison prides itself on its heavy involvement and support of the Arts. Local coffee shops, restaurants, bed & breakfasts, and stores dawn small town charm that makes you feel at home. Madison also has one of the largest historic districts in the country, with 133 blocks in the downtown area along the river. If you're looking for a small town with lots of activity and events, or just a quiet place to go on a hike or boat ride, Madison is perfect for you!

I like the downtown shops and restaurants within my town of Madison, Indiana. We aren't big so we don't have the hustle and bustle of big cities! I enjoy the small-town life.
I love our little tight knit town. Everybody knows everybody and I love that it's kinda like a little bit of Mayberry. In the summertime downtown, they often bring out big projection screens and show free movies that are actually pretty current with society. Just wish they had more activities for young adults. They have no bowling alley, skate rink, or any place to hangout except for the taco bell parking lot.
