Madeira is a great small town for every type of life style. The school system there is phenomenal from K-12 with many students going on to attend prestigious universities. This does make the school very hyper competitive though which can be hard for some students. There are also a variety of activities in the summer for families like free summer concerts, Shakespeare in the park, and the wiffle ball league. There is also a great sense of community with everyone in the town. Everyone comes out for the football games on Friday nights in the falls and is always there to help each other in their time of need. Overall, Madeira is a great small town to live in.

Madeira is a safe, family friendly community that prepares children and students to succeed in the professional world. With many community events, event nights, and activities, Madeira offers something fun for just about anyone. The size of the downtown area puts almost everything in walking distance and provides a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
The thing I love most about Madeira is the fact that everyone is a neighbor. You are guaranteed to see a familiar face at our local Kroger, or really anywhere you go. This makes Madeira a place that is fitting to all and will make you feel safe no matter where you are. One thing I would like to see change in Madeira is an increase of diversity. I think if we had more diversity then we would see creative minds work together to make this town even greater for all kinds of people.
