It is a tight knit small community where people are actively involved. The community actively participates in school functions which benefit students to allow them better opportunities in their future endeavors. Everybody knows everyone which is good for community awareness. When there is a tragedy we come together to comfort. Along with the tragedies we come together to celebrate when someone has made a great achievement.

Macedon is a small and connected community, with a very small population. But the area is a safe, quiet, and homely. This is an area if you don't want the bustling traffic and hustle of the city of Rochester. It is an area that is quite crime free, so its safe. I found myself really enjoying the area and haven't ever found any problems I have come across. But it is a bit costly living in this area, so it may be difficult for impoverished people to find residence here. And there is diversity present, but not as much as there should be within the community. The area has places that can easily be reached and is not hard driving to necessary facilities such as grocery stores and gas stations. And over all it is a good place for middle class families and up to live within.
Macedon is a quite, yet affordable and diverse little town. The people are friendly, and the community is well knit together.
