The best part about living in Lyons is the friendly people at the library and the rich diversity it seems to have for such a small area. In the summer bands play in the baseball field a few streets down from the library and it's right next to Culver's. The roads need some work, but it's not too bad.

I loved living here, and I the area is nice, it is not like Oak Park or Riverside but its a great place to be.
We are in a quite trailer park community, there is a two small convenient stores within walking distance, one has been here for many years, two gas stations with a Subway. Not 5 minutes away is many stores, good eating, Walmart, Home Depot, all within a short distance.
