I've been living in South Carolina for 16 years. I grew up in Greer and moved to Lyman when I started living with one of my other family members. Even though Lyman and Greer are in the same area, Lyman is more diverse and has more things to do than Greer does. Lyman is more modern and has a lot of options for restaurants, stores, and things to do for fun. Both are small towns, but Lyman has a closer community than Greer does and I like that about the town. I also like the school district in Lyman better than Greer's school district. I feel like the district cares about their students and what's best for their students and the community.

I love how my city is a small but is filled with all great types of people. Most of the people I have intrigued my self with has been very generous and thoughtful. I like how we have a few restaurants and a couple gas stations in my town, but it is not to crowded.
I have lived in Lyman my entire life. It's a cute little town right in the middle of two decent sized cities. The cost of living is overall affordable. There are small businesses that supplied the locals with necessities. If unable to find what you're looking for in the town you can drive 5 to 10 mins to the next town to find what you are looking for.
