Lyman SC is a nice, quiet, small town. It is situated right between Greenville and Spartanburg SC and has a country feel, but is just minutes away from shopping and entertainment. It is a great place to live and raise children. Great schools too!

I've been living in South Carolina for 16 years. I grew up in Greer and moved to Lyman when I started living with one of my other family members. Even though Lyman and Greer are in the same area, Lyman is more diverse and has more things to do than Greer does. Lyman is more modern and has a lot of options for restaurants, stores, and things to do for fun. Both are small towns, but Lyman has a closer community than Greer does and I like that about the town. I also like the school district in Lyman better than Greer's school district. I feel like the district cares about their students and what's best for their students and the community.
Lyman SC is a very friendly place to live. It's conveniently located between Greenville and Spartanburg. They have family community activities. Several fitness centers and icecream shop. Lyman has several walking trails and a water park.
