Lyford; it's a quaint little place with a population of a little under 2,000, and I doubt anyone would classify it as the prettiest small town they've ever seen perhaps. Even those who live less than half an hour away have trouble knowing where we lie. However, the beauty can be seen in the details. While our majorly Hispanic community may lack in appearance, it definitely holds a nostalgic place in the hearts of those who are former residents. The school and streets are relatively safe, and everyone is fortunate enough to know one another. Not a day goes by that I don't appreciate growing up in a community such as this one.
The Lyford areas were composed of diverse yet family-like communities. Town itself is small compared to other towns and cities nearby, yet there are job opportunities within the area if sought out properly. The public schools have an adequate rate of educational success and preparation of opportunities for the students of all ages.
Lyford has really good people that get along. It has also developed some businesses that are good for the community. I also like that the park is in nice conditions for the people who go and spent time there. One thing that can be resolve are the roads and more light poles can be placed in the streets.
