I enjoy the area I live in because it's just a little outside of Tampa. There isn't much traffic when I'm travelling home depending on where I'm coming from. The commute I have to take to get to wherever I need to go in either direction isn't an issue for me at all. The area where I live is quiet and friendly. I love my neighbors because any time I'm out of town, they also look after my home and I do the same for them. Overall, I really enjoy this area and for anyone else who decide to live in Lutz, I know they'll enjoy it too!

I have lived in Lutz since I was in elementary school. It encompasses two counties (Hillsborough and Pasco). It has a hometown feel with several family owned restaurants. It has easy access to Tampa International Airport, I-275, I-75, and the Veteran's Expressway. Shopping is a short drive which includes the new Outlet Mall, Wiregrass Mall, Citrus Park Mall, and International Mall. Upper scale restaurants are finding their way to Lutz. I would love to see more!
I live in Lutz currently and have for years. The schools in Lutz are top tier public schools with little need to implement private schools simply due to the success of the public schools. The commute can get slightly congested during rush hour but in regular mid day hours traffic is limited to a minimum. The housing market in Lutz stays sustained, yet does not inflate to an over priced market where finding a decent sized home will cost a fortune. The diversity for years has been limited until recent construction that brought about a more developed and cultured community. Cops patrol enough to provide a sense of comfort, without an overwhelming presence that can become annoying. Overall Lutz has a few areas that could use improvement, but for the most part it is one well rounded community.
