Lunenburg is a small town in the North Country of Vermont, part of Essex County. I have been a resident of Lunenburg for the past 16 years as my husband has been a life long resident. While there is only one convenience store in the whole town, lunenburg is well centered. Just across the river through Gilman, VT is Dalton, NH and only nine miles from there is Littleton, NH which is well known for being a tourist attraction town with Chutters General Store which has the worlds longest candy line. Heading in another direction only seven miles away over a bridge is Lancaster, NH. One last trip northwest is St. Johnsbury, VT and Lyndonville, VT which the latter I work at a nursing home as a nurse. So as mentioned above, Lunenburg is a quiet town but is close in all directions for fun and opportunities.

Lunenburg has been home to me for the entierty of my life. The values and principles of the community are strong and the people unwavering in their pride. Whether it be the historical sites or the local schools or the town meeting spots of the corner store and town transfer station Lunenburg is, and always will be the best example of a small town making its way in the big world.
