Lumberton township is a great town. It is one of the safest towns to live in south jersey. The police station is minutes away and they respond to emergencies very quickly. Ever since I lived here in 2013 I haven’t experienced or heard of any crimes or violence in the township. Convenient stores and groceries are within walking distance for people that don’t drive. There are good restaurants to eat at and good pubs and bars for people who enjoy the night life. If you’re an Uber/lift driving you’ll probably make a ton of money in this area picking up people from Dempsters and Dads bar. Those are the top two pubs in the area. Jobs opportunities here are okay. There are minimum job opportunities in the area like Burger King, McDonald’s, Aldi etc. Overall, it’s one of the safest places to live. One thingI would like for it to change is, if we can have our own events such as fireworks on 4th of July rather than going to next town(Mount holly).

I love Lumberton Township! There is a very good school system, good housing options. It is very family friendly, very safe at night, and there are just about no hints of crime around here. Overall, Lumberton is the perfect place for peace and quiet and to start a family life.
I've lived all my life in lumberton and I've enjoyed it here, however the so called "main street" leaves something to be desired. There are hardly any local buisnesses in lumberton and If you want to go out and enjoy a nice walk down a street with different resturants cafes and shops you have to go to Mount Holly, the neighboring town. Besides that Lumberton is relatively safe with a great public school districtl.
