I love Ludington's beautiful views and throughout summer there is an abundance of activities that are both family friendly and adult only. The library always has great things for minors to do and Ludington is a music rich community. There are multiple beaches to visit, but the tourists all end up at Stearns beach so it's vital to get to know some of the locals and find their secret spots!

Living here for all of my life has been an experience I always take for granted. There is something about growing up in a small town that really changes a person. I believe individuals are more likely to get involved with the community and trust in the people around them. Ludington area has provided me with loads of opportunities to better myself and the town through the local 4-H and National Honor Society chapters. I have grown up with the same group of kids and there is not a single person out of them that I can say has not benefited from living in small town Ludington.
Ludington, Michigan gives off a warm and welcoming feel to all tourists and residents who live here. With beautiful sunsets on the miles of beach, one of the best state parks in Michigan, a downtown full of small businesses to visit, and constant community events, there's always something to do here! If for some reason you feel like leaving town for a day, we have the S.S. Badger that travels to Milwaukee, Wisconsin every day during the summer months. Another perk of living here is that crime rate is extremely low, therefore you never have to be worried while out exploring the town. Prices for housing, goods, and gas are also relatively well-priced compared with national averages and are never more than ten minutes from any location in Ludington. Job opening are always popping up too with new businesses coming to town. If one is wondering about the quality of schooling, Ludington is a great place to go. Ludington High School is ranked in the top 8% of the nation as far as test scores are concerned. Whether you're here for vacation, or you live here year-around, Ludington truly is a place one must see.
