This a small town and is very peaceful! However, due to it being small there is not much to do and very little restaurants.

I have grown up in Lovington. I love the close knit community and the people are usually super friendly. The schools are nice and provided me with a great education. There isn’t much to do, however. This is a town where you have to travel 20 miles to do something fun. The roads are awful, but they are being worked on as I am writing this, so it is not so bad.
It is a small town and thereby it is easy to meet and get to know everyone it is pleasant with relatively low criminal activity that I am aware of the only issue is the same as the good thing it being small limits what is available.
