Working in Louisa
I can walk to everywhere I need. The sidewalks are painted by local school kids with paws(go Wildcats). It's a small town where people are friendly and supportive. Businesses are run by locals. There are two bigger citi-like towns within 20 miles that have more nightlife and shopping. All real cozy!
I think the school systems need to focus more on educating our children and help each of them to succeed rather than focusing on punishing them for being late or having sick days. Predominantly, I like Louisa because it is a small town and is a pretty quiet area. I would like to see it become a better place to live with drugs leaving the area. Also, getting more restaurants so we can have a wider selection to choose from when we eat out. And for some reason buying a house and gas prices are way higher in this area than anywhere else. That needs to change. Louisa don't have much to offer so for me to continue living here some things will definitely need to step up to the plate and give me a reason to stay. Overall, I give Louisa 3 stars. It has a long way to go. I live here currently because I feel it's a safe place to live which can make up for some of the falling points. It's a safe and quiet little town that needs a little tlc.
I love my little town. I worked as a lifeguard at the Louisa City Pool and it helped me to get to know more people and just learn about are little town. There aren't many things to do but eat and go to the lake or to the pool. Then when the winter comes around we have roller skating. The extremely good thing is that we don't live to far way from what we call a little city named Ashland. They have a mall and a movie theater and other little things too. The best thing is that Louisa is that it's not to far away but its a very quiet and away from everything. The people are very friendly and very nice and thoughtful. I love to be able to be apart of my little town.
