I’d say this town is very normal, the things I love are down town long grove and the schools which are full of opportunities. My family moved for a larger house with more space and a good school, this area has both. We live a 5 minute drive away from down town long grove, which has three amazing fun festivals a year which include food and fun with your friends. Also the school district is really good, most/if not all of the students attend Stevenson High school, an amazing school full of great opportunities! I like this area overall, as you can see there are many upsides to living here. However it’s a small town, so I wouldn’t say the area is for everyone, and I’ve always loved the big cities.
Love this place! It's so friendly and the people are always willing to help you out! The parks are beautiful and the schools have the best teachers. We love the fact that the commute is easy and the police regularly patrol the area. We feel safe here. It's also affordable to find homes that fit your needs. There are many new neighborhoods that are affordable too!
It’s a small (pop. 8000) city about a 40 minute drive from Chicago. It has minimal traffic and very accessible shopping and dining areas. It’s very safe and has a small-town charm to it that residents love. It bears a striking similarity to towns in Hallmark movies and has a historic and charming downtown area with local businesses to eat and shop at. It’s a quiet town and is great for people and families of all ages. Houses are spacious with large yards which are great for growing families. It is also known for its exemplary public schools with great funding and teachers.
