Long Beach Reviews

I live right on the beach so the town is very touristy which has its pros and cons. This community is super close and everyone will lend a hand if you need it.
Small Coastal Town. Typical tourist town. Summers are bustling with people, but long about October, there the town seems deserted. The local economy is quite depressed and residents are either retired, or struggling for work.
I would love to see off-shore wave/tidal generation being built. This would create an influx of people for an extended period of time. The city would generate more income and jobs for its residents and the population would diversify.

Long Beach is a warm, nurturing community that still keeps one foot firmly in the past. It truly is somewhere where "everybody knows your name"; whether it's the gal at the Kite Museum, or the amazing organic gardener at the farmer's market. Long Beach is an amazing place to raise your children (and a few chickens too, if you have them!)
