Long Beach is a beautiful island attached to the southern portion of Long Island. It has a large bay as well as a long beautiful boardwalk along the south shore. Long Beach is a car and bicycle town where you'll find tons of restaurants and snack spots with outdoor dining and amazing night life. You'll find small clothes shops, souvenier and, ofcourse, surf shops. Long Beach is open all year around and is accessible via the Long Island Rail Road which leaves you right in the heart of the town. The train ride is 60 minutes from NYC and the beach will be a few short blocks away!

Long Beach is a wonderful community. We are one of two cities on Long Island. Long Beach offers diversity, close proximity to NYC and is a beautiful beach town. There are things to do for families with kids and we residents are known to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Warm and friendly with beachy vibe is how I would describe my town of Long Beach. Surf culture and fun for all!
It’s a great city. There’s plenty to do like go to the beach, go to restaurants in the West End ir Bike ride on the boardwalk. The beach is always clean and we are rated 50 something in the top 100 safest cities in America. I love where I live!
