I have been living in Loganville for about 8 years and I would definitely say I like it! There has been a lot of construction over the years and the majority of the buildings here in Loganville are fairly new. There are still a lot of upcoming developments, residential and commercial! The school ratings in the Loganville area are pretty good especially since Loganville is in Gwinnett. I like how it is not too close to Atlanta but not too far away. It is not an extremely loud area yet it is not silent like the country. Some things I would possibly change about Loganville is that there could be more things to do for kids and teenagers in the town rather than having to travel to another one to do things! I also would like to see more diversity especially in the grocery stores because everyone should feel welcomed. Overall Loganville is very nice, there are lots of nice people around and I would recommend it to anyone looking for places to live in Georgia.
Loganville, Georgia is located about 45 minutes from Athens 50 & minutes from downtown Atlanta. It's a large suburb with new construction building of single family homes, townhomes and apartments. There is plenty of shopping in Loganville with more shopping and restaurants in nearby cities of Snellville and Monroe. The Mall of Georgia is located in nearby Buford, GA & Sugarloaf Mills in nearby Lawrenceville. You can shop and enjoy the The Shoppes at Webb Gin house in nearby Snellville. There are county parks close by that offer biking trails, hiking, walking trails, basketball, skateboard and tennis. Loganville is located in Gwinnett & Walton counties with Walton county tending to be a little more rural. The two high schools are Loganville High School located in Walton County & Grayson High School in Gwinnett County. Both high schools are very competitive in athletics and academics. Overall this community is very family friendly oriented and full of life.
Loganville is a really nice and quiet town outside of Atlanta. It has everything you need, all of the great fast-food restaurants, Walmart, and many other stores with the Scenic Highway strip being nearby. It is about 30-45 minutes outside of Atlanta with access to I-20, I-285, and I-85, being in the middle of all three major interstates. There comes an issue with Loganville being in the middle of the three highways, it can sometimes take an hour and a half to get to Loganville during rush hour. Although the commute could be long from Atlanta, Loganville is about 45 minutes from Athens, GA, with a straight drive up route 78. Lastly, Loganville is in a nice area if you are looking for a suburb with quick access to Atlanta, Buford (Mall of Georgia), and Athens!
