Living in Livingston, Alabama is a great experience if you like a homely, cozy environment. We have here the prestigious University of West Alabama. We have many historic landmarks and beautiful scenery. However i would add more job opportunities for teens.

Livingston is a small college town. with public and a charter school located in Sumter County Alabma. Eateries include McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Sonic and Hardee's. No hospital. No public transportation. Mayor/Council government. Economically poor with no new job prospects.
My experience of growing up in a small home town has been wonderful. People know each other, help one another, and are somewhat friendly. I would like to see more jobs available in the area. I would love to see the school system provide better education. Like more classes that are STEM focused and electives in case students want to attend 2 year college.
