I took a trip here during winter break with my boyfriends family. It was there turn to spend Christmas at a relatives house. I have never been up North before. It was a really great experience. Little Compton is a cute, cozy little town. I could see myself living here despite the crazy cold weather they get during the winter. The people are nice there and there are no fast food restaurants or chain restaurants and stores there. Every business is family owned and original. It is kinda expensive but I think that's a general thing for the North East states.
Wonderful place to live, raise a family, and relax. Oh, and please keep us out of the spotlight! Beaches, a tight-knit community, wonderful town employees, including police and fire. What more could one ask for? Low taxes? Yup, got that too.
I have lived here my whole life and its a beautiful small town with lovely people. The only problem is it does tend to fall into the traps of lacking diversity and expensive prices, like many other small towns in Rhode Island.
