LC does not have much diversity; it’s white-conservative. The general pop are kind, but it’s also cliquey.
Aside from a couple of supper clubs, a coffee shop & Mexican restaurant, everything else is fast food or a bar that serves food. There are A LOT of bars! All are friendly & welcoming with a neighborhood feel (cliques/regulars) bc most are in neighborhoods, even downtown.
The downtown is small but cute & safe. The library is amazing. LC has nice community events. The local police patrol often, are visible. There are several great parks, walking trails, a community pool & skateboard park.
LC has a few local retail shops, one big grocer. There’s not much public transportation, but a few buses that connect to the other suburbs/Appleton area via Main St.
Several major national businesses offer stable employment.
Overall LC is a nice place to live, work & raise a family, but not a destination. Decent shopping, dining & entertainment isn’t far away.

I have lived in Little Chute nearly all my life and hardly have any problems with it. The majority of its residents are kind and the area does not seem to suffer many minor crimes or otherwise. Nearby and neighboring cities are Kimberly/Combined Locks, Kaukauna & Appleton.
Reasons I would no longer give it 5 stars is the new buildings going up everywhere. There are hardly any areas with just grass and those areas that do exist are starting to be filled in by whatever they can fit a business. Secondly, though it does not bother me, there is a train track that runs straight through the middle of town and you will clearly hear it regardless of where you live.

Very safe, small, and caring community. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a more quiet, trouble-free area with great local eats and a great education system.
