Litchfield CT is a beautiful area that provides many activities for a wide variety of people. My favorite part about Litchfield is it's outdoor recreational opportunities. White Memorial, a nature reserve, is a perfect place to run, hike, bike, kayak, watch birds, and educate people on it's many ecosystems. It also has a boardwalk that lets you walk around the wetland reserve. There are countless trails and beautiful environments that allow one to fully relax. Among many outdoor activities, Litchfield also has many shops and restaurants peppered throughout the center of town, also referred to as "The Green", by locals. From boutiques and coffee shops to consignment stores and upscale restaurants, The Green also offers seasonal musical performances and concerts outside for all to enjoy. Bantam Lake is also close by, where families can swim at the beach, go boating, or fishing. Litchfield is a picturesque and quiet town that offers many experiences to both it's residents and tourists.

Litchfield has a good atmosphere and the majority of the people are very hard working. There are many small businesses and cozy shops to be able to go visit whenever you may looking for something to do. Litchfield is a smaller town, but that does help people build closer relationships with others.
Litchfield is a wonderful small town. It is full of farms and non-chain stores. There are many hiking trails and outdoor activities. On holidays the green is full of people with many activities for children setup by the town. Winters are much colder than other areas in the state; however all other seasons are pleasant. It is comforting to live in town where you know your neighbors and everyone is friendly. There is a sense of community and there has never been a time where I did not feel safe. We have found that it is a wonderful place to raise a family.
