Litchfield is a small town in Hillsborough county in New Hampshire. As a person who moved here from Florida, Litchfield is a nice area, it is very quaint and cute and it is surrounded by Hudson/Nashua to the south and Manchester to the north. Living in this area is also somewhat cheaper than other areas.
Clean, safe, quiet, rural and a great place to raise a family. Litchfield is a small town within close proximity to Manchester and Nashua. It's about an hour drive to the ocean, mountains, and Boston. There are a lot of farms and farmers markets. Homes are well maintained and there are a lot of green spaces.
Litchfield is a very small town that is very family friendly. We have very good public school that are very safe. Overall the safety in Litchfield is very good, partly because we are a small town and also because it is pretty quiet when it comes night time. The downside is that there is not much diversity, and really no job opportunities besides teaching in the town itself. However, there are several surrounding towns with several jobs available.
