Love it here, very quiet Historic little town nestled between Downingtown and Exton. Situated in the Downingtown School District which is swell. I wish there were some more sidewalks where I am located but the traffic is minimal and everyone is quite friendly. Super close to the Exton Mall, eateries, shops and everything you can think of. Couldn't recommend it more. Probably why the property values go up every year!
The area in which I live is a very nice city/neighborhood. The Philadelphia suburbs are considered to be one of the richest areas in the united states, and being only an hour outside of Philadelphia has advantages. One being that I do not technically live in the city so my area is generally free of violent crime as opposed to suburbs of other more "dangerous" cities such as Chicago. If I could do it over I would absolutely live in this general area, because it has a welcoming environment as well as a upstanding reputation.
My area is essentially crime free, with the exception of some residents who use marijuana or other illegal drugs. However technically speaking those are considered 'non-violent" crimes and do not do harm to anyone except those using them, other than that there is virtually no crime in my area.
