If you like small towns then this is the place for you! Lindsay is a great small town that is known for olives. If you haven’t yet seen in super markets, our town name is labeled in a red can will with olives! Our town is also known for oranges! Tons of orange grows surround this small old town! This great old town every year hosts the Orange Blossom Festival along with the carnival! It is a great way to hang out with your families and friends. If none of that rings a bell about great old Lindsay then you must have heard about the McDermontX! This place is advertised everywhere! From billboards and comercial stations on the radio! This place have an arcade, rock wall, flowrider, laser tag and many more! For your kids to have a blast at! And if you are a gym addict they even have a gym right inside! Lindsay is a great place to be at!

I wouldn't change anything about Lindsay it has been a wonderful place to grow up ! We are a very diverse community and it has helped me learn to appreciate different cultures and views on life. Our public school system encourages our learning by making it learner centered. They have completely turned over the traditional school system into something that its learners can enjoy. Now every learner is in charge of their own learning. If you move faster or slower than the pace the teacher goes accommodations will be made to ensure the learner is learning the most possible. Since we are a small town it never fails that you see a friendly face when going out for a cup of coffee or a trip to the grocery store. We are a small town with not much to do but with the right group of friends, having a bonfire and making s'mores is the ideal night. Lindsay is a place that you can teach a lot to as well as learn alot.
Lindsay is a small town with a population of 13,303 in 2017. What I like about Lindsay is that it is small and you know most of the people living here. There are a lot of friendly people in Lindsay but just like everywhere else there are people that are not so friendly. In Lindsay, there are very few stores in Lindsay but Porterville is a bigger town with more stores which is only 15 minutes away. The schools here in Lindsay aren't perfect but I think they are good especially the ones with both English and Spanish classes like Washington Elementary.
