Lincolnton was a small town growing up but now that I'm older I realize that it has grown with me! The town is located a short drive outside of Charlotte with cheaper living expenses so many of the working class have decided to make Lincolnton their home. We have the perfect blend of small-town country people, educated sophisticates and tourists. Unlike other old towns, Lincolnton is old but is young at heart! Buildings have been maintained, the square hosts many festivals, shops are modern with old flair and grounds are manicured. Activities ranch from enjoying a horseback ride in the country, attending an annual town event, visiting a vineyard, catching a movie, walking on a town's trail or spending all day on a boat on Lake Norman. All in all, Lincolnton has something for everyone and I'm proud to call it home.

I have lived in Lincolnton my entire life and I have always found it to be a pretty safe and easy place to raise a family. The heart of Lincolnton is where you find the most diversity but not when it comes to food. Southern grease and fast food are mostly what you'll find unless you venture a little bit out into the county or surrounding cities such as Hickory, Gastonia, and Charlotte, rather than the town. Otherwise, if you are looking an affordable place to bring up your kids in an easy going town, Lincolnton is for you. Also on the plus side, the town has recently started putting a lot of money into recreation with improving our Rail Trail, planting flower beds, and a new splash pad for kids.
Very nice quiet town, sometimes feels boring but social lives and spiritual exploration fill in the gap.
