I love my town. When I first moved here I was hesitant, but soon got settled in and discovered all of the shops and restaurants downtown. My personal favorite restaurant is Harvest Moon Grille. The service is great, the food is healthy and the taste is always exceptional. The Chick-Fil-A was built soon after I moved here. I currently work there now and I absolutely love it! It is only about five minutes from my house which makes it even better! I attend North Lincoln High school and my commute is very short. The school itself is great and I love all of my teachers. Overall this city is great for every age, with many job opportunities as well as the rail trail downtown for safe walking and exercise!

Lincolnton was a small town growing up but now that I'm older I realize that it has grown with me! The town is located a short drive outside of Charlotte with cheaper living expenses so many of the working class have decided to make Lincolnton their home. We have the perfect blend of small-town country people, educated sophisticates and tourists. Unlike other old towns, Lincolnton is old but is young at heart! Buildings have been maintained, the square hosts many festivals, shops are modern with old flair and grounds are manicured. Activities ranch from enjoying a horseback ride in the country, attending an annual town event, visiting a vineyard, catching a movie, walking on a town's trail or spending all day on a boat on Lake Norman. All in all, Lincolnton has something for everyone and I'm proud to call it home.
Lincolnton is a clam, cool, and nifty small town which is a comfortable distance from the city and the mountains. It is not filled with too much to do but allows it's residents to travel closely to the attractions in nearby cities while still coming back home at the end of the day. The fact that it is a small town gives it several opportunities throughput the year for local events which many people in town participate in every year, making it a part of the culture. The demographics are pretty diverse. Overall, it is a great town to start a family in and live.
