I was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. The many trips home since moving to the South has been one of party. Really the only thing to do in Lima is party, movies, bars, etc. There really is no quality of life. if they would all come together there could be again life in little Lima. Just seems the people have forgotten the rich heritage in which they came from. I have missed my family so much, and was thinking to go back to Lima, possibly find work (medical), and find affordable house to purchase, as there are many in the area I am finding. If you are looking for cheap living this is it. It is easy to make friends, and have a small town appeal. It really comes down to the company you keep. End of story. If you go looking for trouble you will find it, otherwise, you will be fine.

Lima sadly, has a lot of problems. Poverty, homelessness, and crime rates are exceedingly high. Health is poor and the education system is flawed. However, their is a great amount of diversty as well as community involvement. Living in Lima has taught me a lot about the issues that exist and manifest in impoverished neighborhoods and what it takes to offer aid and relief to individuals.
Lima, Ohio has diverse industries here. They have many schools and Colleges here. They offer a wide range of work experience with education. Everything is with 15 minutes of each other. Commuting across town is fairly easy. It is close to the major interstate. There is something for just about everyone here. I would love to see the drug and human trafficking come to a halt. This community could be so much more and better.
