Liberty Township Reviews
It is a nice area to raise children and about twenty minutes from downtown KC. I would say though if what you are looking for is a cultural and diverse area, then Liberty is not for you.
Close-knit community. Close to many stores and job opportunities. I visited often since a family member attended college in the area. I always felt safe.
Kearney is a very small town, with very minimal retail shops, and no large businesses. Our grocery stores are great, and we have an excellent selection in gas stations and drug stores. Everyone in the town is very friendly, and is never short of making you feel welcomed. It doesn't bother me we don't have a lot of restaurants or places to shop, because we are only a short drive from Kansas City.
