Liberty just so happens to be my home town! It is a farm based region with simple down to earth kind of people. This area isn't a wealthy area so many people know what a honest day of work is weather it's hanging tobacco in a barn, square bailing hay, gathering corn, crowing many different types of crops, fixing fences, and helping anyone that you possibly can because that's the way you was raised. I was raised from a hard working farming family, we know what a honest days of work is and it has truly changed me life. It's a wonderful small town to visit, to see the beauty of a small town compared to a large industrial based town, were all you see for miles is factories and large smoke stacks in the air. This is a town we're you can relax and be yourself before you come visit make sure to make arrangements to stay the night because we have one hotel with 10 rooms!

Liberty is small town. A friendly small town. If you go anywhere you are almost guaranteed to see someone that you know. Although I am not very country, that is the kind of people that Liberty, Kentucky is full of. A majority may not like the same things as I do, but I learned even if you may not agree with someone’s opinion you should respect it anyway. Some people in this town cannot fully grasp the understanding of that and chose to judge quickly. That is something I do not like about this town. I would like to see that change. I hope to one day be in a town with more open minded people.
Liberty is a super small town. I have grown up here and spent my life here now I am raising my child in this town. A lot of people act like it's awful because it's so small and boring but to me it is peaceful and relaxing. Everyone knows their neighbors here and you hardly ever meet a stranger. The only thing I would change would be adding more activities for children/teenagers. Because it is such a small town we don't have many activities to keep kids entertained and out of trouble. Our 3 stop light town needs an upgrade.
