Lexington County has some of the best! Schools your child can attend. As well as many job opportunities and openings all around the Lexington area. There is also May after school day-cares for parents that work late. I can pretty much walk anywhere in Lexington and not have a fear in the world because of top notch police officials, and patrols. Very safe and would recommend living here to anyone I can across that isn’t already!

Lexington is a great place to live. It is constantly growing. There are new stores that are being built every year. The county is very quick to respond to any emergencies that might happen. All the neighborhoods are safe. There are many different grocery stores to choose from. Some of these include stores such as Walmart, Publix, and Lowes. There is also a wide variety of department stores to visit. These stores range from Ulta to Kohls. There are also many different restaurants to choose to eat at. These restaurants range from cuisines such as Poke Bros to Mod pizza.
Lexington is a wonderful place to live overall. However, crime seems to be getting a little worse. Also it is very overcrowded. And there are some neighborhoods you want to live in and some you don't. One neighborhood to avoid would be Woodcreek off of number 1 Highway. If you like a community that is truly HOA run and enforces its laws and Covenants then Woodcreek is not the place for you. However if you want to do pretty much what you want then Woodcreek is for you. It used to be a really good neighborhood but more and more of an unsavory crowd seem to be moving in. There are other good neighborhoods however, in Lexington you just have to pick and choose.
