Working in Lexington
Lexington is an amazing city to visit and live in. Coming from a small town in Kentucky, I’m in love with the small town vibe Lexington has. The people are genuine and the food is fantastic. The only thing is this city pretty much revolves around the enormous campus of University of Kentucky, so traffic can get a little messy. All the rolling land and numerous horse farms around the city, though, makes it one of the most beautiful cities to live in. Lexington is also great for outdoor activities, such as cycling!
I have lived in Lexington since I was two years old and I have enjoyed every second of it! Lexington has the best of both worlds, with a bustling city center surrounded by countryside just a few miles outside of town. Lexington is also home to lots of fun activities, such as horse racing at Keenland and sports at the University of Kentucky. All in all, I have very few complaints about where I was born and raised!
Lexington is home to some of the best restaurants, historic sites, parks, and the best sports teams :) ! GO CATS! Also what Lexington is best known for, being the horse capital of the world. The Keeneland horse park offers amazing food, like their famous burgoo, and amazing horse races to watch and bet on! Lexington is definitely an easy place to call home!
