Lexington has the luxury of allowing you to get the feeling of a big city, while being a ten minute drive away from beautiful farms! There is so much to do and never a dull moment. There are infinite job opportunities, even for minors like myself looking for a part time job. There's also so many different cultures of people found in Lexington, that it is a very nice change of pace when coming from some other surrounding Kentucky towns.

Love this city. It is very hard to adapt to new places when coming from another country. This city was very easy to get used to. People are nice and helpful. My neighborhood is clean and full of life. If you are a lover of nature this is the place to be. There are at least 5 major parks that are especially for dogs and a bunch of other activities for people. My favorite one is Shillito's park because you can practice almost any sport you want and has the mall right behind it. Traffic here is bad either. Very affordable and there is always a job for you. Keeneland which is the most popular horse race event is this city! And don't get me started with a number of places you can go eat and have fun. It is unbelievable! I am very glad that I came to this city rather than any other and believe me, I have been in almost all of the states in the country but there is no city like Lexington.
It is a very friendly city, with lots to do here. There is a little bit for everyone. There is the city life, a beautiful downtown area, and many shopping areas. There is great food and music! There is also a bit of country charm. Being the horse capital of the world, there is the horse park and many horse trails. There is beautiful scenery and hiking trails close by
