Love this city. It is very hard to adapt to new places when coming from another country. This city was very easy to get used to. People are nice and helpful. My neighborhood is clean and full of life. If you are a lover of nature this is the place to be. There are at least 5 major parks that are especially for dogs and a bunch of other activities for people. My favorite one is Shillito's park because you can practice almost any sport you want and has the mall right behind it. Traffic here is bad either. Very affordable and there is always a job for you. Keeneland which is the most popular horse race event is this city! And don't get me started with a number of places you can go eat and have fun. It is unbelievable! I am very glad that I came to this city rather than any other and believe me, I have been in almost all of the states in the country but there is no city like Lexington.

The driving is stressful but I love all of the businesses, local and national! I love that the University of Kentucky is in Lexington because it gives me the opportunity to go back to school without uprooting my life by moving. It is also really great that there are so many opportunities to run/walk 5Ks, whether it is downtown on at the Keenland horse track. The beautiful arboretum is always a great place to visit, too. Lexington has some really great events such as gallery hop, where you can walk around Lexington and see some great art . Lexington is great!
Lexington, KY has great ethnic food. Maria's Kitchen, Tortilleria y Taqueria Ramirez, and La Marquesa have the most authentic Mexican food, and Panda Cuisine (not the same as Panda Express) and Hunan's have the most authentic Chinese food, just to name a few. Great shopping includes Hamburg Pavilion, The Summit at Fritz Farm, Fayette Mall, and Sportsman's Warehouse and Cabella's for outdoorsman. Lexington has excellent health care. UK HealthCare offers the highest level of care for trauma and all body systems. UK offers abundant educational opportunities, but private, community, and technical options also exist. Secondary schools offer prep programs for STEM students, and the arts are heavily supported in Fayette County Schools. Lexington has many beautiful green spaces, like The Arboretum and Jacobson, Shillito, and Veterans Parks. When you add the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and Raven Run Nature Sanctuary, Lexington is just an all-around excellent place to live.
