Lexington is a small town. It only has one stop light. It is what you would call a "blink town". If you blink, you could literally miss it. It does not have a grocery store. We finally got a Dollar General. We now have a Sonic. Those two places are really the only "mainstream" stores in the whole entire town. Lexington is surrounded by country. Most people live in the country. Farming is very prevalent in Lexington. Most people who live in Lexington have to go to Purcell, Noble, or Norman to find work. The school system is OK, not great. Most people that live here grew up here and either never left or came back to raise their families. I'll never forget that I grew up here, but when I become a forensic scientist I am moving far away. Hopefully I will make enough money that I can move my parents out of here too.

It is a close community. The people are very nice and the schools are good. They do not have many stores, just a Dollar general and a Sonic. If you want anything else you have to go to Purcell. I like it because it is small.
LEXINGTON IS A SMALL, FAMILY FRIENDLY COMMUNITY. IT IS CLOSE TO NORMAN AND OKLAHOMA CITY. IT'S EASY TO LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN WITH THE CONVENIENCE OF THE CITY JUST DOWN THE INTERSTATE.
