Lewisville Township Reviews
Lewisville is a small town right on the outskirts of Winston-Salem. It is a great town to raise a family. They have a town square with events throughout the year. They have plays, show movies, and have a great free fire works display every fourth of July. Lewisville has housing for just about every income level. From apartments to luxury neighborhoods. There is even a great private school called Forsyth country Day school that educates from kindergarten to twelth grade. Its a small town buy your close to the interstate and five minutes from Winston Salem.
The atmosphere of this area is very safe. I would gladly choose to live here again given the chance. Compared to other areas in the country, it is definitely one of the better neighborhoods. I do not have to worry about criminal activity and neighbors are trustworthy and good natured. In the future, the neighborhood will expand. As of now, phase II is undergoing construction. There is only one mildly negative comment I have about the atmosphere: it's very quiet. While many children are seen outside most days, teens mostly remain indoors and do not interact. I wish the neighborhood would hold more social gatherings and create more opportunities for neighbors to get to know each other.
In my neighborhood, safety is not a prominent issue. Living on the outskirts of Winston-Salem, more criminal activity occurs downtown. Shootings, robbery, and murders show up on the news, however, most do not occur in close proximity to my neighborhood. The only criminal activity that has occurred recently in my neighborhood occurred over Christmas break when some cars were broken into.
