Living in Lewisville all my life, I have grown up here to see the bonds and family connections that people make. The area is strong in diversity and that is reflected in the small businesses that are successful here.
During COVID, several businesses started selling their inventory and created different ways to help the community. One in particular, sold a "bundle" which included raw chicken breasts, bread, and even toilet paper. You would order online and they would bring it out to your car. This helped the community and the businesses remain profitable.
Another local restaurant, started a new "take out" business. They set up a new website and advertised on social media. Their quick thinking and innovative ideas kept them open for business during the shut down.
As someone who has attended the schools, had jobs, and has been active in the community, I have really enjoyed my experience living here in Lewisville Texas.

I’ve been living in Lewisville since 2012 and it’s a nice place to live in. There’s quite a bit to do, yet the nightlife is kinda poor and I wish that it could be improved by a lot. There’s a lot of fitness activities and playgrounds as the city recently built a gym next to a park. The schools are pretty good in education but ok in how many kids get in trouble as from middle school up to high school, there’s a bit of fights and other events in that nature. Besides that, they’re fine. The city is very family friendly as they like to hold events for holidays and just for anytime of the year and they’re directed towards families. It doesn’t take too long to get to work in Lewisville, but sometimes the traffic, especially in Main Street, can get pretty bad. The most amazing part of Lewisville is the involvement with the high school football teams as many people come together to cheer on and support the teams along with having huge rivalries and competitions.
I love Lewisville. I love the community and I love how it is becoming more accepting of others. Lewisville is the best for job opportunities and the city officials inspire me to become an active member to serve my community. Lewisville is advancing and making better social environments to adapt to COVID regulations, while serving the community. Lewisville is becoming more diverse and is showing the community how they care about the well being of others. Lewisville supports their citizens and I am glad to be apart of such a safe, inclusive, and diverse community.
