Lewisburg is a family oriented small town. I moved here in 2004. Initially, I found this small southern town close-minded and career limiting. Throughout the past decade, this small town has grown substantially. Business' are booming, our schools our top notch, and I have the best neighbors.
Tennessee is the "Volunteer" state. Lewisburg is a beautiful reflection of the term.

Lewisburg has a hometown feeling, but very little for young people to do. It has a bowling alley and a drive-in theater that is open seasonally.
Since it is such a small town crime is not really heard of; However, that is not to day that is does not happen. Typically when police officers are called it is to address a noise complaint or tame a couple of teenagers who thought that they would be able to get away with something. We have been residents in this town for twelve years; in those twelve years we were never afraid of leaving the doors unlocked at any point, taking walks late at night, or even helping somone broken down on the side of the road. I've yet to come across someone with bad intentions.
