I love the town of Leverett! It has a lot of nature to appreciate and it is very quiet. I would love if there was more public access to Leverett pond, however.

Overall a very good town with friendly neighbors and residents. It's quiet, peaceful, and low in crime rates. It can be very easy to get lost here due to hilly/winding roads, no cell service (on most carriers), and lack of people. If you get lost here without a GPS or map, you'd have to solicit someone in their homes to ask for help. There are also a lot of unpaved roads.

Good thing is that there are many hidden gems such as the Montague Book Mill, Peace Pagoda, and other hiking trails.
Great progressive town central to the Five colleges in Hampshire county, MA. The colleges include, UMass, Amherst, Smith College, Hampshire College, Amherst College and Mount Holyoke College.
