I grew up in Lennox and this community is surrounded by poverty. Although there was not much opportunity for wealth in families, I enjoyed that I was able to grow up with family and friends. I learned that those who live and grew up there were not given the chance to leave and start new. The community is always there for each other because they know that unity is necessary to get by.
I would want for the people in the community to not have to work two to three jobs in order to make ends meet. I would want for there to be clean streets and limited homeless people surrounding the community for it to be safer environmentally. I would want there to be more opportunities for the people who live there and not have to settle for less because its the what they can do with what they are given.

Some thing I like about Lennox is that it’s very family friendly everyone knows each other. Also I feel like people watch out for each other in a way either family or just friends. I would like to see one change be for it to be safer for kids and adults. Therefore if there was something that could be changed about Lennox I would say just the safety. I’ve lived in Lennox since I was young and it’s just been my community for a very long time and I would like it if it were safer for younger generations to grow.
Lennox is a pretty cool place, because I've lived here since I was born I know the place by heart. Actually, Lennox is pretty small but it does count as a part of Inglewood or Hawthorne area. It is very impacted with the Latino community which makes it feel very welcoming to me, but there are some instances where we could use a little help. Because we are very near the airport our health and well-being is often forgotten not to mention there is gang affiliation here we aren't really the impressive type. Our city of Lennox has so many bright, young, talented students that could benefit from resources and help offered by others if only help was offered, we are a low income city trying to rise above and help the young students fulfill their potential and reach their goals.
