Lots of rundown buildings and streets, not to mention the people who live there. While I live just outside the town itself, most of the homes here are well over 10+ years old! Many companies like McDonalds and 7/11 have removed the clientele from the local businesses, after the hurricane last year, many have yet to recover.

I love Lehigh Acres, it is a great city especially if your interested in the quiet and calm life. Our residents are extremely friendly and all around great people. I have lived in Lehigh Acres for about 10 years now and I could not be any happier. One thing I do hope we could work on is our education system. There has been a shortage of teachers, and I feel like we should inform students about maybe an education major. Going along with schools, I feel like we should help schools manage their money and use it with their academies, and maybe not just sports.
I have lived in Lehigh Acres since I was 8 years old and without a doubt, this has been one of the best cities i have lived in. In my neighborhood, by Sunshine Road, it is very peaceful as everyone is usually inside their home. All of my neighbors are very caring and thoughtful and help each other in times of need, like when hurricane Irma passed for example. Overall, I think that Lehigh Acres is a great place to live, but if I had to change something, I would make sure that we had more security because there are times that I feel like I am not that safe. Other than that, I would open up more things in Lehigh because I am tired of just seeing dollar store, car washes, and car repair shops. It is annoying that there is nothing fun to do here, so if you want to hang out with friends, I suggest you go to a different city near by.
