It is a charming small town with a ton of history. The plowing service is amazing compared to anywhere else in South Dakota, the roads are always neatly plowed which means there are close to zero snow days. The roads that lead to the higher level houses are very sloped and getting up them in the winter is almost impossible to accomplish. I wish to see more funding go towards the school and getting more usage out of the three schools.

While I can't speak personally, I know some people who have experienced "politics" within the police force and some things do not get handled as they maybe should.
It is almost a central hub for all of the black hills. We have a Historic Opera House, the Homestake Gold Mine both right in town, and several caves, and other attractions within an hours drive.
